Slow Going…

Sooo I have about a month to start and finish an afghan for Kayla and Bucky as a shower gift. I have had the pattern picked out forever and went to go get the yarn and needle this past week when I finished C’s blanket. This afternoon I decided to start. And I quickly got wickedly frustrated with myself. And stopped. It seems I am still a baby when it comes to crocheting. I need help getting started with each project. This project will have to wait until Tuesday when I can go to my dear friend Amy because I have unsuccessfully crocheted one and a half rows. GO ME!

Eventually this will look like this…

Atleast, I hope so…

Finally Finished

Doesn’t it feel great when you finally finish something you started. Maybe it’s that book that you HAD to have and felt super awesome buying at Barnes & Nobles, maybe it’s the home improvement project that slipped to the bottom of the to-do list, or MAYBE it’s the blanket you promised your brother-in-dating you’d make him for Christmas and then his birthday. I have to say I’m pretty proud of this one… I thought it would never ever end. But alas it is finished. Just in time for Spring… perfect timing, I know! ;)

TA DAA

Only two weeks late. Or three and a half months late. Or not late at all. Depends how ya look at it :)
